The flag of White Bear Lake —
Based on the logo of the White Bear Country Inn (and used in marketing material as early as 1984), this design was adopted as a flag in 1988 with the construction of White Bear Lake's new city hall. In years since, the bear device has undergone several evolutions, but has always faced the fly.
